  • As per SSC CGL Eligibility criteria, Bachelor degree holders in any stream or discipline can apply for this exam.
  • The SSC CGL exam will be held in four stages or tiers .i.e Tier – 1, Tier -2, Tier – 3, and Tier – 4.

    1. Qualification :

    Registration for SSC CGL 2019

    The application form for SSC CGL 2019 will be made available in October 2019 and is going to continue until November 2019.

    Candidates can fill in online mode only by visiting the official portal( different for different regions) of SSC.

  • Candidates need to register by entering his/her email ID, phone number and password
  • A SSC registration number will be issued
  • Use the given registration number and password to log in
  • Fill the detailed application form and upload scanned photographs and signature as per dimensions specified in the JPEG format.
  • Candidates would be selected through a 4-tier selection process of SSC CGL, in which the fourth tier would be of qualifying nature only.

  • Tier 1 comprises of about 100 MCQs based on the general aptitude to be done within an hour.
  • Tier 2 is a descriptive test comprising two papers of Mathematics and English with each being of 200 marks and of 2 hours duration.

    Tier I SSC Syllabus for CGL

    Tier II SSC Syllabus for CGL

    Mains Exam will be conducted online and is an objective multiple choice exam.

    Tier III SSC Syllabus for CGL

  • Tier – III of SSC CGL exam is a descriptive exam to test the writing skills of the candidates in English/Hindi.

    SSC CGL 2019 Result

    Eligibility Criteria for SSC CHSL 2019

    The SSC CHSL Eligibility criteria are as follows:

    1. Citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, in order to settle down on a permanent basis.

    SSC JE Vacancy

    The vacancies for the SSC JE post were not announced in the initial official notification.

    The tentative vacancy of this post was announced through an addendum that the number of SSC JE vacancies for 2019-20 exams summed up to 1601 positions in total.

    Given below is the procedure for filling the SSC online application for the exam which consists of two parts:

    1. One-Time SSC Registration
    2. SSC Online Application Form

    1. One-Time SSC Registration: For this type of SSC registration, a candidate should read the instructions which are updated in the Notice of Examination carefully before proceeding to fill up the SSC online ‘Registration Form’ and ‘Application Form’.

    The candidate is required to open the SSC official website (ssc.nic.in) and click on ‘Register Now’ provided in the SSC Login section of the website.

    It is essential to keep the following documents handy during SSC registration:

  • Mobile number/Email ID which should be verified through OTP. During SSC registration, the User ID of the candidate will be his/her Email ID that he/she had provided earlier.
  • Update Aadhaar Number or Aadhaar Enrollment Number as an ID proof. If the Aadhaar card is not available, the candidate can show any of the following documents later:
  • i. Voter ID Card
  • ii. PAN Card
  • iii. Passport
  • iv. Driving License
  • v. School/ College ID Card
  • vi. Employer ID (Govt/ PSU/ Private)
  • Information about the name of the Board, Roll Number and Year of Passing the 10th standard examination.
  • Have a scanned colour passport-size photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB).

    Candidates are required to complete the SSC Registration process within 7 days failing which their SSC Registration details saved would be permanently deleted.

    JE Paper – II SSC Syllabus

    This paper consists of three parts that focus on core subjects.

    They are as follows:

    1. Part-A (Civil & Structural Engineering): It includes topics like Building Materials, Surveying, Estimating, Costing and Valuation, Concrete Technology, Irrigation Engineering, RCC Design, Hydraulics, etc.
    2. Part-B (Electrical Engineering): It includes topics like Circuit law, AC Fundamentals, Electrical Machines, Measurement and measuring instruments, Synchronous Machines, etc.
    3. Part- C (Mechanical Engineering): It includes topics like Theory of Machines and Machine Design, Thermal Engineering, Engineering Mechanics and Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics & Machinery, etc.

    SSC JE Eligibility Criteria

    Candidates willing to appear for the exam are required to check the SSC JE eligibility criteria and the basic SSC JE requirements before they fill up the SSC JE Application form.

    The SSC JE Eligibility is as follows:

    1. Educational Qualifications: Eligible candidates must hold the essential educational qualification for the post relevant to their degree.

    They should have passed the Matriculation examination or any equivalent degree from a recognised Board.

    1. Citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, in order to settle down on a permanent basis.

    2. A person who has migrated from the following lands and wishes to permanently in India are also eligible:

  • 3. SSC JE Age Limit:

    Candidates must fulfil the below-mentioned age requirement as on 1st August 2019:

    SSC JE Admit Card

    Applicants who are taking the SSC JE 2018-19 exam can download the SSC JE Admit Card from the official website of SSC (ssc.nic.in).

    They should carry it to the examination centre along with a Passport-size photo affixed on it on the scheduled exam day.

    While downloading the Admit Card from the relevant webpage, they need to click on the SSC JE Admit Card link and feed in the relevant credentials such as SSC Registration Number and Date of Birth (DOB).

    It is advisable for applicants to keep a printout of the document for future reference.

    SSC CPO

    The Staff Selection Commission conducts the Central Police Organization(CPO) exam.

    The SSC CPO exam is conducted to recruit candidates for various posts under the Central Police Force like Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub Inspectors in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

    SSC CPO Notification :

    SSC MTS :

    SSC MTS is the short term of "SSC Multitasking Staff". SSC conducts the SSC Multitasking exam in two main stages; Common Test and descriptive paper. After clearing these stages, the candidate will get selected for General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial posts in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Offices, in different States/Union Territories.

    SSC MTS 2019 Eligibility Criteria :

    Candidates should follow the following eligibility criteria for SSC MTS 2019 Exam:

    SSC MTS Syllabus & Exam Pattern

    This year SSC MTS 2019 exam (Non-Technical) will be conducted in an online mode, unlike in past years. The exam pattern has been changed to 100 questions which were earlier to be conducted for 150 questions. Also, the time limit has been reduced to 90 minutes.
