Minimum Educational Qualifications (as on 01-05-2017):

Age: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years. For candidates possessing M.Phil.and Ph.D. qualification, upper age limit will be 32 and 34 years respectively.

General Awareness Syllabus for RBI Grade B:
- The level of General Awareness section expected to be easy to moderate.
- (i) Current Affairs – National & International News, Awards & Authors , Sports News, Summits & Conferences, Schemes, Agreement & Deals, Science & technology etc.
- (ii) Banking & Financial + Economic News– Banking Terminology, Banking & Economic news, Monetary policies, Current rates, Financial & Economics News, Economics terms, etc.
- (iii) Static GK – Static GK – Mountains Rivers ,Ports ,Parks, Dam, Thermal Power Plants, Temples, Stadiums, Airports, etc.
This is the only segment where candidates can score more and be able to be in merit list. There are total 80 questions which will be asked from this section. The questions can be asked from different topics which are mentioned below-

Interview
Candidates will be short-listed for interview based on the aggregate marks obtained only in Papers I, II and III (Phase II). Candidates may answer the Interview in either Hindi or English.
